Re: [TDK] Tcl Dev Kit, ActiveTcl 8.5.2, and tap files? | Re: [TDK] Tcl Dev Kit, ActiveTcl 8.5.2, and tap files?
Where do I find that log? What I did was crank up the TDK 4.1 tclapp
program to see what Tap search paths I had. I had no current Tap search
paths. There were old directories that had been deleted and there were
some directories that exist but were not current.

So, I went through, for my own environment, and provided to the Tap
Search Paths dialog the lib directory for ActiveTcl . Is there anything
within TDK 4.1 itself which should be in that list of paths?

That may be. The command line TclApp however uses the same preferences
as the TclApp GUI, and the referenced dialog in the TclApp GUI is the
only way to inspect the settings of these preferences (short of using a
(registry) editor and looking directly into the preferences
file/registry, which is not recommended).

The installer for TDK looks for ActiveTcl installations i the PATH and
sets/extends the tap search path to find the tap files of these
ActiveTcl installations. If it did not find any ActiveTcl installations
it will leave the preferences alone. This is something you can see in
the TDK installer log.
