[TDK] Invitation to connect on LinkedIn | [TDK] Tcl Dev Kit 5.0.2 now available
Hi,

I am using tclxref, version 5, (trial version) on
platform linux-libcpp6-x86. I am trying to get my head around a complex
project consisting of 2000 source files of C and TCL type. A client
server socket application, all console, no widgets.

At the toplevel directory of my project (which of course has many subdirectories) I ran

tclxref -scan xrefDbFile.txr *.tcl *.c *.h

This created some 50 lines of this on the xterm
.........*.........*.........*.........*.........*
meaning it was actually doing something. Then I ran

 tclxref -gui xrefDbFile.txr

but the gui is all empty - it has the menus but no files, packages, namespaces, commands or
variables - all panes empty.
If I load the xrefDbFile.txr I just created manually via the GUI, nothing happens/changes. N
o error messages as far as I can see.

I repeated the exercise with
tclxref -scan xrefDbFile2.txr *
 tclxref -gui xrefDbFile2.txr
with the same result.

The xrefDbFile.txr file is only 1100 bytes large (1k).

Am I missing something major here? If not I would be very disappointed....

Any help welcome!

Nir
