I checked and this does also choke on Solaris' /usr/ccs/bin/make (I
had GNU make first in my path).

Hmmm ... this is a nice convenient documented feature of make (as
in, in the definitive 'make' book), but I guess I'll have to think
of a way around it that still makes the TEA stuff easy.

BTW, in this case, just s/$(PACKAGE)/Tktable in the Makefile.
