Announcing ASPN Perl from ActiveState | Visual Perl 1.0 Beta 2 Released
Hello,

It is my pleasure to announce the availability of
Visual Perl 1.0 Beta 3 for Visual Studio.NET.

This version is a beta release, which means there are still known
issues in it, but we've made definite strides over the previous beta.

Information about the release, where to download etc. is available from:

   http://www.ActiveState.com/Products/VisualPerl

Some important notes:

1) If you have installed Beta 2 of Visual Perl, you will need to
uninstall Visual Perl. You don't need to uninstall Active Perl.

2) Ensure you have installed Visual Studio.NET Beta 1. Visual Perl
installation will fail if Visual Studio.NET isn't present.

3) This mailing is a one-time announcement. For general discussion on
   Visual Perl, see:

      http://mailarchive.ActiveState.com/subs/visualperl-discuss

    or send a message to:

      visualperl-discuss-request@[...].com

with no subject, and a message body of:

      subscribe [password] [digest-option] [address=<address> ]

4) Feedback regarding VisualPerl should be sent to
    visualperl-feedback@[...].com

5) You can access the Visual Perl database at
   http://bugs.activestate.com/VisualPerl.

We look forward to your comments and feedback.

Sincerely,

Eric Promislow and the ActiveState Visual Studio products team
