I posted this on the ActivePerl list, but so far no reply. Perhaps someone on
this list knows the answer?

TIA,

David

Subject: Visual Studio ASP.NET web applications using ActivePerl, VisualPerl,
and PDK

activeperl mailing list:

I am attempting to create ASP.NET applications using Microsoft Visual Studio
2003 and ActivePerl-5.8.6.811-MSWin32-x86-122208.msi,
VisualPerl-vs2003-1.8.1.2827.msi, and PDK-Pro-6.0.0.117102.msi. When I start
Visual Studio 2003, choose File -> New... -> Project..., and then Visual Perl
Projects in the Project Type pane, I don't see an option to create ASP.NET web
applications.

It would appear that the ActiveState plug-in(s) for Visual Studio 2003 do not
support the creation of pure Perl ASP.NET web applications. Am I wishing for
something that doesn't exist or is not possible? Am I evaluation the wrong
products? Have I messed things up somehow?

TIA,

David
