Visual Python is a Plug In to write Python programs with Visual Studio 7.

Forget  the .NET thing. Most of it is only marketing. At the moment M$ is
rebranding everything either XP or .NET. Don't get me wrong MSIL is really
interesting and it's hopefully going to be an exiting platform for multi
language cross platform development. But I think it will take about 2-3
years till it's really useful.

Can anyone explain to me the relationship between Python.NET and Visual
Python? Is there any plan to make Python a 'real' .NET language (compiling
to MSIL, cross language stuff etc.)?
