If you take a look at other posts, you'll see that I had problems with
wxPython 2.5.x in Windows 98 machines while handling PNG transparent
files. 

If my client could upgrade his hardware and Windows license, then I
could upgrade my development environment and the deployment environment
as well...

I mean, I can't upgrade right now, but I wish I could.
