Hello,

I am using the FileDropTarget for a widget much like the example provided in
the demo application, but I would like to know if I can use the same widget
to act as a starting point for dragging the files to another application?

Has anyone had any success with this? Is it possible?

From what I have been able to find, this is just not supported.
