Regarding auto-completion, on this screen-shot :

We can see that when typing '</', a list of tags to be closed is proposed.
This is not required. At any moment, in an XML document, there is only one
tag to be closed, the last opened one.

It's not specific to XML Origin, XML Spy makes the same mistake, while
Excelon Stylus does not : as soon as you type '</' in Stylus, the previously
opened tag is automatically closed, and the cursor moved at the end of the
closing tag. It saves a lot of typing.

For example, in the screen-shot mentioned above, I'd like the editor to
automatically enter 'xsl:call-template> ' as soon as I type '</'.

Some people may prefer XML Spy's way of handling closing tags : as soon as
you type an opening tag, the corresponding closing tag is inserted. This is
good when entering new data in a document in a streamlined way, but I find
it awkward when all you want to do is edit a document and put a particular
word between <b> s. In that case, the closing </b> is inserted at the bad
place and is getting in the way rather than helping me. I definitely prefer
the '</' closing tag macro to XML Spy approach. Maybe both style could be
implemented in all editors, letting the user choose between the two as an
option ?
