Have you guys considered that the inconvenience this policy imposes is greater
than the likely burden of spam that is clever enough to explicitly post to: or
cc: to the list? I'm on many mailing lists which have a less intrusive policy
and suffer little or no spam.
As it is, I've had to hack my local mail transport agent (Exim) in order to
post to this list. If I can do that, any spammer desperate enough to get
around reasonable measures can do the same thing.
