We welcome your Comments and Feature Requests, and Bug Reports. We provide Installation Support and host a number of Mailing Lists for discussion of the Perl Dev Kit.

Comments and Feature Requests

If you tried the Perl Dev Kit and you would like to see a certain feature, or you would like to tell us how the Perl Dev Kit did or did not meet your needs, send us an email. Please send suggestions and feature requests to:

Bug Reports

If you have found a bug, we'd like to know about it. First, view our online bug database to see if your bug has already been reported. If a report does not exist, please submit one.

When submitting a bug report, please include all relevant details and one or more examples that will help us reproduce the problem. To fix the bug, we must be able to reproduce it.

Installation Support

If you need help with installation, please send email to:

  support@ActiveState.com

Include the name of the product and version, your OS, what occurred during the unsuccessful installation, and any other pertinent information. Please read the Perl Dev Kit Install Guide before contacting ActiveState Support.

Mailing Lists

For questions regarding issues other than installation, including the use of the Perl Dev Kit tools for specific tasks, please subscribe to the Perl Dev Kit mailing list by sending email to:

Make "subscribe" the subject of the message. Remember to search the archive (http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/Browse/Threaded/pdk) before posting to see if a solution has already been identified.

The PerlNET tool has its own mailing list. Subscribe by sending email to:

  perl.net-request@listserv.ActiveState.com

Make "subscribe" the subject of the message. PerlNET also has its own archive (http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/Browse/Threaded/perl.net).
