perlfb - Perl Dev Kit Filter Builder

NAME

perlfb - Perl Dev Kit Filter Builder

SYNOPSIS

perlfb [options] [filterscript]

DESCRIPTION

The Filter Builder is a graphical application used to construct filters and (optionally) alter the contents of text files, such as log and XML files. Numerous search and replacement criteria can be specified; these criteria are applied on a line-by-line basis to the input file.

OPTIONS

The following commandline options are supported. Options can be abbreviated to uniqueness.

--input file
Start up with the given file as input.

--show-description
--noshow-description
Show (or don't show) the Description pane initially.

--show-variables
--noshow--variables
Show (or don't show) the Variables pane initially.

--show-select
--noshow-select
Show (or don't show) the Select Lines pane initially.

--show-replace
--noshow-replace
Show (or don't show) the Replacement pane initially.

--show-input
--noshow-input
Show (or don't show) the Input pane initially.

--show-output
--noshow-output
Show (or don't show) the Output pane initially.

--version
Print the perlfb version number and exit.
